The German pidgin translation is inconsistent. The English word "passwort" is
sometimes translated as "Passwort" (ngerman), and as "Paßwort" (german) in
other places.
Another example is the English string "buddies", which is sometimes translated
to "buddys" (which is the correct german plural form) and sometimes to
"buddies".
This does not affect the upstream translation.
