Public bug reported: First of all thank you very much for providing an excellent operating system.
I want to report that my laptop has an integrated webcam that worked fine until the 8.04 version of Ubuntu, when you install the latest version, the 8.10, the operating system does not recognize the webcam. It is indispensable for me, because I do constant video conferencing. I think one of the importance of ubuntu, is the great hardware support and that this sort of trouble could deception to multiple users. But I am a faithful user of ubuntu, and I want to continue using it for much longer. as could solve the problem? Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Duvan Ballen Rodriguez. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Problem with a webcam of an laptop Sony VAIO VGN-FJ270 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/302942 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
