Public bug reported:

Since upgrading to 8.10, when I connect my digital camera (Canon
PowerShot A530) something strange happens.

With 8.04 and all preceeding ubuntu versions, connecting the camera to
the usb port produced the activation of the program set in the
preferences for removable media -> camera.

Now, on the contrary, besides that, the SD card inside the camera is
mounted too.

This way, when gnome-volume-manager-gthumb (I've set it in my removable
media -> camera preferences) is called, it cannot see the photos.
gnome-volume-manager-gthumb says:

"An error occurred in the io-library ('Could not lock the device'):
Camera is already in use."

Actually the camera's card is mounted, and I can see the corresponding
icon in the desktop and in the disk mount applet too.

I think that the camera's card filesystem shouldn't be mounted if a
program is automatically launched when connecting the camera.
