good news !!

Well, if you have some time could you tell me a bit more about the bug !
Why it was acting like this...what was provoking this turn into a zombie
process ?

Thanks anyway !

This should be fixed in openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-1ubuntu1 which should be
finished building in about 7 hours in Jaunty. It will be uploaded to the
ppa as soon as I get time.

Thanks,

Chris Cheney

Status in “openoffice.org” source package in Ubuntu: Fix Released

Bug description:
I just upgraded to the latest Openoffice3 version for intrepid

(from this source: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openoffice-pkgs/ubuntu
intrepid main)

and openoffice keeps crashing when i try to save a document or to export as pdf
or to save as an other document..
OO is then listet as zombie and blocks the whole system (alt-ctrl-F3 and a
killall soffice is the only way then)

[tools - options - general - use OO dialogs] solves this problem.. so it is
maybe a problem with the kde integration of OO?

i am using OO3 on kubuntu8.10 kde4.2RC1
