As you wish,  i've captured required data, just aftert X got it selve
back together,  it happend after all night suspend,  and using kernel:
2.6.28-8-generic.  no interesting programs where ran,  as i remeber only
Firefox,  and Eclipse,

For the rt73usb, that's exacly the way i've enabled suspend on my
Ubuntu, i'll  report a speparate bug report for it

For the X restart issue, when this occurs could you grab the dmesg
command output and the /var/log/Xorg.log.0 and attache them to this bug.
For the rt73usb module issue, are you having to remove that manually to
be able to suspend?  You should be able to add that to
/etc/pm/config.d/config, you need a line which looks like:

SUSPEND_MODULES=$SUSPEND_MODULES rt73usb

But you should probabally file a separate bug for that issue.
