[Bug 331939] Re: evince crashed with SIGSEGV,

2009-02-23 Thread So_it_goes

I also tried with ,xubuntu desktop 8.10 intrepid i386,
and it works there.

So high probability for, as you say , an amd64 issue.

[Bug 331939] Re: evince crashed with SIGSEGV,

2009-02-22 Thread So_it_goes

Yes, as I commented above.
I also could zoom in/out in the i386 32 intrepid ubuntu version.

32 vs 64 ?
gnome vs xfce ?

There is a 'SIGSEGV' difference in behaviour between the i386 32 ubuntu
and the amd64 xubuntu version

sigsegv should appear in both versions if it was a code bug,
The 'menusystem' used i evinence' what is it ( sorry for my language ),
seems as when you select a % value it crashes.
32/64 issues , null 0x... checks ??
Interfaces , pointers ?
libs, build libs ??

OK

Now the first gpg command is OK, but the second says:

Looking ahead the how do you decide the last part of

sudo apt-get install evince-dbgsym=2.xx.x-xubuntux.8.04.1 THIS LAST PART,
i.e where does the .1 show up or how do you decide it.
seems 8.10 in my case with intrepid, but .1 ??

[Bug 331939] Re: evince crashed with SIGSEGV,

2009-02-20 Thread So_it_goes

Attached file downloaded from:
http://www.giga-byte.com/Support/Motherboard/Manual_DownloadFile.aspx?FileType=ManualFileID=17934

Tried the document(downloaded) in virtualbox - xubuntu i386 , no problems.
 x86_64 vs i385 libs maybe ??

Seems I can't reproduce it with apport as I've already reported it.(?)

Failed to backtrace due to( following the backtrace wiki you supplied( which
isn't totally accurate ).
- 1'st I added the line
http://ddebs.ubuntu.com intrepid main restricted universe multiverse
to /etc/deb/sources.list

Then I tried the next command supplied in the wiki
But the key isn't availiable ?

$ gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 428D7C01
gpg: requesting key 428D7C01 from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error

Any ideas ??
