Public bug reported: This problem happens on Ubuntu 8.04.2 LTS. (Kernel 2.6.24-23-server #1 SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux). iptables version 1.3.8.
On configuring a router with nat if the module nf_nat_ftp is loaded internal users accessing ftp servers can't pass the "listing directory" status. Also, when trying to access internal ftp servers that are natted the corresponding ip address substitutuion is not done correctly avoiding the possibility to use passive mode on that connection. The same configuration worked fine on Ubuntu 7.04, Debian etch and Debian Lenny. Ports are forwarded correctly. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nf_nat_ftp breaks ftp connections on router https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/334773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
