There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. I don't think this was actually fixed in bug 105470. The list begins with No localiz, and also includes Esperant, Bahasa Iı, Portuguê, Portuguê, and so on. The listbox should be wide enough to show all the items inside it. This bug was previously reported, marked as High, and fixed two years - ago as bug 105740. It may save time to fix bug 254644 at the same time + ago as bug 105470.
