This is Ubuntu 8.10 on x86_64 with ClamAV 0.94.dfsg.2. ClamAV dies more or less every day. Looking in freshclam.log, the time of the crash matches the time when freshclam signals clamd to reread the database: Received signal: wake up ClamAV update process started at Wed Mar 4 23:36:32 2009 main.cld is up to date (version: 50, sigs: 500667, f-level: 38, builder: sven) Trying host db.local.clamav.net (195.95.205.245)...
