We'd like to figure out what's causing this bug, but we haven't heard back from you in a while. Could you please read bug 283327 and let us know if that bug describes the same problem you had the very first time you noticed you couldn't find the CUPS service? Hi hiroppy, Is this the very first place you had looked when you were first unable to find the CUPS service? We'd like to be as sure as we can that this bug either is or is not a duplicate of bug 283327. Could you please let us know where you had looked the very first time you were unable to find the CUPS service? I use konsole and do comand. $su # openssl req -new -nodes -x509 -keyout /etc/cups/ssl/server.key -out /etc/cups/ssl/server.crt -days 3650 -JP -tokyo - - - and restart my computer . The after I can use Common UNIX Printing System. I can find this way in Google. This way may not be true.But I can use my printer. I suspect this may be a duplicate of bug #283327, but to know for sure we need to know where you were looking when you expected to see the CUPS service. I can get cups service a few days ago. I can find way to get cups service from Google. I use console to use SSL,so I can used cups server port631. Now I can use my printer. And thank you very match.
