Thanks for the report Zied ALAYA , It has been a long time without any
comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the
bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest
Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective
comments to the report? You can learn how to get that release at
http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate your

[Bug 356065] Re: No icon for window selector

2009-04-09 Thread Zied ALAYA
Excuse me Sebastien but I think this is a bug.
as you can see in top of this screenshot:
just after open a new session, there is no specific icon for window selctor
(the icon is the non existing icon)

just passing to another workspace and without opening any new
application or window, the icon is changed to this (see in the top of
the attachment) .

I will change the status to new to avoid opening a new bug with another
number.

if this is what suppose to happen (have the no specific icon (the blue
rectangle)) so I'm wrong and this is not a bug.

[Bug 356065] Re: No icon for window selector

2009-04-08 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thanks for the report Zied, is this really a bug? I mean, there's no
window selected when you start your session that's why it's displaying a
default icon. the behavior is the same in previous releases so this is
not a gnome 2.26 specific issue, removing that from the title to avoid
confusion.

[Bug 356065] Re: No icon for window selector

2009-04-08 Thread Zied ALAYA
Pedro, I think it's a bug because at the first time when we open a
session we should have the icon of the desktop.

having the icon of the desktop would make it similar to the show
desktop button applet and be confusing, that's not a bug
