[Bug 373617] Re: [needs-packaging] festival-ru should be available

2009-05-22 Thread Sergey V. Udaltsov
Actually there are 2 packages in Debian: festvox-ru (actual data) and
festival-ru (empty, just includes festival and festfox-ru as
dependencies). If it is going to be available in Karmic, feel free to
close this bug after the import. How could we ensure that these
packages are included?

[Bug 373617] Re: [needs-packaging] festival-ru should be available

2009-05-21 Thread Rail Aliev
Sergey,

Seems like Debian already has this package in stable and testing, but with a
different name.
http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/festvox-ru

AFAIK, it will be synced from Debian (semi) automatically before Debian
Import Freeze (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KarmicReleaseSchedule). Otherwise
you need to file sync request (requestsync from ubuntu-dev-tools).

Brian, would you need any help in processing of that bug? What would be
the timeline, perhaps approximate one?
