This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu. Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty? I am fairly certain that I am also affected by this bug. I'm on a Lenovo Thinkpad T60 that came with the same card. No drivers are listed in Hardware Drivers, and I tried to install fglrx to get hardware accel working. Screen was garbled beyond recognition.
