Fabio 10.04lts Yes volume only everything else seems to work, Im not a hotkey user Just when the phone rings you wish to quiet the computer and O-shit your screwed. the volume control (on top, right, of screen, quicklaunch bar) does work. If I accidentally touch a button for volume on keyboard then the volume icon flashes on screen and if I try to hover over it it vanishes but as long as its flashing the computer is locked the only recovery is press power button till dead -restart Fabio I'm sorry I wish I was better at describing what is happening I do want to thank you for looking into what might be going wrong to make Ubuntu a super product.
