There's no point holding off for work on yet another Transmission release, otherwise we'll end up in the same situation with 1.73 ;-). 1.71 is a big improvement over 1.61 which is currently in the archive, so it's still ready to upload. As for the 1.72 upgrade my preference is to wait for Debian so we can merge. Also it would be nice to ask Charles when is 1 .72 going to be released as it contains few fixes for launchpad bugs. 1.72 will be out sometime this weekend.
