[Bug 387704] Re: [jaunty] Software Sources panel does not remember auto-update settings after upgrade from hardy
might relate to bug #370795 in software-properties as well -- [jaunty] Software Sources panel does not remember auto-update settings after upgrade from hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 387704] Re: [jaunty] Software Sources panel does not remember auto-update settings after upgrade from hardy
Fixed Resolution: Auto-update settings are kept in /etc/apt.conf.d/10periodic. There was also /etc/apt.conf.d/20auto-upgrades, perhaps a remnant of an older version of the updater's instrumentation. Removing the 20auto-upgrades file restores the desired behaviour. Perhaps it would make sense to remove/rename the 20auto-upgrades file in the post-install hook? -- [jaunty] Software Sources panel does not remember auto-update settings after upgrade from hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
