Hi Leann, isn't an issue anymore and I forgot posting what happened. After deleting kernel 2.6.28-13 the update manager kept showing a blocked update. The update was already installed on my system, so I tried deleting the package and gave me no other packages involved in the removal. I proceeded with the deletion and now update manager works as used to.
