Binary package hint: qemu

In qemu there is the option "-smp n     Simulate an SMP system with n CPUs."
However, When using this option, the virtual machine hangs immediately after 
starting.

For instance, this doesn't work:
qemu -boot d -m 384 -cdrom  '/dev/cdrom1' -net nic,vlan=0 -net user,vlan=0 -smb 
/ -localtime -soundhw sb16 -smp 2
This works.
qemu -boot d -m 384 -cdrom  '/dev/cdrom1' -net nic,vlan=0 -net user,vlan=0 -smb 
/ -localtime -soundhw sb16

The host is:
AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60
