Hi Upgraded to latest updates and now floppy doesn't make noise, but it doesn't work. Yes, it definitely looks like a duplicate of bug #384469. I can't try solutions from #384469 discussion page right now so I can't tell if they work for me. I'll check them in the evening and write you wheter floppy is still making noise and whether floppy is working at all solutions applied.
