[Bug 400131] Re: motd printed twiceat login, since a couple of days
It could be a good idea to mark this package as transitional, in the short description, since /etc/update-motd.d/ is already provided by base-files, update-manager-core and update-notifier-common, thus completely deprecating update-motd.
