[Bug 40381] Re: system settings can't be reset to Kubuntu defaults

2007-03-15 Thread Juan Carlos Torres
Using Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty and KDE 3.5.6.
I can't confirm this "exact" behavior, that is, some settings defaulting to
vanilla KDE defaults and not to Kubuntu. What I can confirm is that some
settings default to Kubuntu defaults, while some don't change at all. For
example, Colors defaults to the Kubuntu colors ("Current Scheme") and so does
Style and Fonts, but doesn't work for Window Decorations and Icons.

However, I think this is actually a KDE bug, as briefly mentioned here:
http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/1805

Filed upstream bug.

[Bug 40381] Re: system settings can't be reset to Kubuntu defaults

2007-03-13 Thread Yuriy Kozlov
Thank you for filing this bug.
I tried it in a couple modules, and it didn't return to kde defaults, but I'm
not sure if it was the Kubuntu defaults either. Can you see if you can
reproduce this on Feisty?
