[Bug 411878] Re: thunderbird memory leak

2018-06-28 Thread gf
Hello Ace,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2009 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 411878

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

G

[Bug 411878] Re: thunderbird memory leak

2009-12-15 Thread Sandeep Kundra
Hi:

I have a similar problem; I am running Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on Ubuntu
9.04. I am only using Thunderbird as a RSS reader and it goes from
about 30MB at startup to 1.1GB in 24 hours.

Thanks

Thank you for the report.

Please provide more information about your environment: include
Thunderbird version, how many emails you may have in the inbox or other
folders, is it configured IMAP or POP, etc.

version 2.0.0.19 (20081209)
Uses IMAP over SSL
has about 3.8 GB of mail on the server
locally about 2 GB is stored (due to some folders marked for offline use)
about 500 mails in inbox

Hope this helps.
