Alex, yes, it does. msgunfmt should restore the cformat flag. I mean during the Dapper pre-release, any segfault was caught and the Launchpad crash reporter would pop up. That doesn't happen anymore, applications simply just explode and disappear without you even noticing most of the time. For me, DD was crashing in an installation script.
