Any news after 12 years? It is possible to use the command line inkscape without any output (quiet)? If you modify your preferences.xml (http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Preferences_subsystem) to this will suppress the warnings in the command line. Ones to note are the _warn attributes.
