Still using the following hardware configuration: 2.8 G/2G RAM/ATI HD2600,512VRAM/SIS AC97 OB Audio Tested this morning with current Karmic and Lucid releases, at 32, 64, 256 512 Aperture settings as well as current Live CD of Lucid and had no problem booting, getting into the X GUI, or opening Firefox and displaying a WWW page. Am invalidating this as I presume that either the newer Kernels, or newer X and/or ATI drivers have corrected this problem. Thanks!
