Can anyone experiencing this on the latest Lucid available at cdimage.ubuntu.com please provide me with apport collected data to this bug? Taras, I am also interested to know if you are seeing these oopses anymore. we have pulled in a number of patches and I am under the impression that the issue should be resolved. Sorry, after recheck, it does not happen to me every boot. It is not linked to my window manager error. I have this warning in my kern.log at every boot. Everything works except : - I frequently have no window manager and even sometimes no panel at startup (under Xfce) - I sometimes have network issues : PING 80.67.169.12 (80.67.169.12) 56(84) bytes of data. From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Net Unreachable From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=2 Destination Net Unreachable From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=3 Destination Net Unreachable From 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=4 Destination Net Unreachable I suspect the router or the ISP to be responsible for this, since I can reach the router. Besides, rebooting the router once or twice does the trick. BTW, I haven't found this error anymore which I got from plugging my HTC G1 into the computer, to automatically get a new network interface. The computer had USB1-ports and I was running from livecd. I actually think the kernel update did the trick.
