Public bug reported: honestly I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a problem with my own hardware... or if I've changed settings in such a way that I've caused problems with my computer. Whenever I start up my Ubuntu 9.10 operating system with my external hard drive already plugged into the USB port during startup, I am unable to mount the drive and get this message:
"Unable to mount 130 GB Filesystem DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed: An operation is already pending" If I unplug the device and plug it in again, it can mount and is readable. Have I done something wrong, or is this a valid bug? What other information is needed to understand the situation more clearly? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed: An operation is already pending https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459608 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
