Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 alpha? ** Changed in: kdebluetooth (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/46130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 46130] Re: kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk
I can confirm it. I have Kubuntu Feisty with all updates (2007-08-16) After resuming from hibernate, I cannot use my usb bluetooth, because I get 1 message about registering sdp record and 3 messages about failing connection to sdp server. It happens sometimes. Sometimes bluetooth work after hibernate. Helps only rebooting. [Bug 46130] Re: kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk
The Cannot connect to SDP server message still appears with Gutsy. Note that this is a fresh install, so bluetooth does not appear in the STOP_SERVICES of /etc/default/acpi-support -- kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/46130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 46130] Re: kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk also on Feisty
I have the same problem with Ubuntu Feisty with all recent updates -- kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk https://launchpad.net/bugs/46130 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 46130] Re: kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk
I'm having the same problem (Edgy and Feisty): the kbluetooth icon disappears from the system tray after resume from suspend. One workaround was to add bluetooth to STOP_SERVICES in /etc/default/acpt-support. When I do that, I always have an error message on resume, but the icon is there. Another way to have it reappear is to use the enable/disable wireless function key on the notebook. Disabling wireless makes the icon immediately reappear, and it stays here after re-enabling. Note that I can still connect to the remote control bluetooth service while the icon is missing (by remote control I mean using a Sony-Ericsson phone to control the mouse and some keys). I don't know about other bluetooth services. I don't know if it is related to Bug #44706. -- kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk https://launchpad.net/bugs/46130 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 46130] Re: kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk
PS: the error message I get when I add bluetooth to STOP_SERVICES is cannot connect to SDP server. It shows up in a small dialog at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes there are two or three instances of this dialog. -- kdebluetoothd stops working after suspend-to-disk https://launchpad.net/bugs/46130 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
