[Bug 462618] Re: pop in sound under pulseaudio 0.9.19
I believe this may have something to do with the way alsa and pulse work together or the way pulse amplification works with alsa. I previous builds when pulse removed sound did not have the same issue. This is still existent even w/ new sound card and proper driver. In 9.10 though if pulse is removed the gnome-volume control will not work. [Bug 462618] Re: pop in sound under pulseaudio 0.9.19
this may be associated with gnome-volume-control as it is where hardware settings have no option for the 6 or 8 channel option under the profile drop menu I do notice that the pop seems to be lessened if custom sound effects are chosen i.e.-sonar,drip,bark but that has no effect on the recording issues that did not previously exist without pulse -- pop in sound under pulseaudio 0.9.19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/462618 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
