I can confirm that (ctrl-c/x and F2). It happens from time to time. I can't really figure out why and when this happens. The bug is most likely to be reproduced by going to another folder and quickly pressing the Ctrl+C or F2, for example. I've noticed it's not just Ctrl+C/X. For example F2 (rename file) sometimes does not work either.
