As of Monday, no issues.  Will spend Tuesday changing systems more often
so if the issue still persists, it will soon be noticeable.

This is a pretty significant patch that chunks out a whole feature
(well, feature) so it may be too much to digest for an SRU.  But maybe

sorry, patch didn't build due to it being against a newer -evdev
codebase than is in karmic.  the patch will have to be rebased against
karmic's -evdev.
