[Bug 475806] Re: gnome-power-manager does not reflect change from AC power and charged state to battery power and discharging state

2010-03-10 Thread IKT
Not the same as 384304 suggests it doesn't think it's on battery at all,
where as on my netbook for example it will charge the battery up, and be
happy at 100% but then:

At 100% charge, gnome-power-manager does not correctly update if AC
power is disconnected to return to battery operation, and continues to
show Laptop battery is fully charged.

[Bug 475806] Re: gnome-power-manager does not reflect change from AC power and charged state to battery power and discharging state

2009-11-05 Thread jgolightly
I was curious how gnome-power-manager would act if I unplugged AC power
under 100% charge. I booted up on battery with around 55% battery
charge and showing active discharge state, then plugged in AC power for
around 10 seconds. It showed battery charging at 55% capacity. I then
unplugged the AC adapter and it showed Laptop battery fully charged.
