[Bug 482622] Re: After configuring a caldav Calendar, 100% CPU load, caldav not loaded

2018-06-28 Thread gf
Hello Henning,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2009 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 482622

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

G

[Bug 482622] Re: After configuring a caldav Calendar, 100% CPU load, caldav not loaded

2010-01-15 Thread Jaromir Obr
Same problem for me.
I have IMAP and CalDAV account, both configured over SSL.
When I start Thunderbird, it tries to load IMAP folder, but without success.
GUI responds, but CPU load is on high level. When I click to Calendar, the
CalDAV calendar is shown as empty.
Disabling of lightning extension helps me.

OS: Ubuntu 10.04
lightning-extension: 0.9+nobinonly-0ubuntu3
thunderbird: 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

Might be this: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390036

All my IMAP accounts and the calendar itself use https.

[Bug 482622] Re: After configuring a caldav Calendar, 100% CPU load, caldav not loaded

2009-12-25 Thread Ivan Noris
(This should be lightning-extension package, not lightning).

I have the same problem:

- I'm using Davical CalDAV calendar server (0.9.7)
- I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 (upgraded a few days ago, but the same behaviour was on
the Ubuntu 9.04 as well)

When running Thunderbird with lightning-extension configured, I have to restart
it (sometimes as well as 10 times!) to have my calendar displayed!
I have the same calendar configured in Evolution and Sunbird (both Ubuntu 9.10
packages) and the calendar displays and always works.
Also: when I remove/unsubscribe the calendar and try to configure it again, it
always works in the current Thunderbird session, but after the first TB
restart, it behaves as described.

The bigger problem is, that when Thunderbird is hanging, I can't
access my IMAP folders (seems that all network threads of TB are busy
because the calendar does not load data or something like that).

When running from the terminal, the following is displayed:

(thunderbird-bin:29680): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times
Registering Enigmail account manager extension.
Enigmail account manager extension registered.

(thunderbird-bin:29680): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times
