[Bug 501206] Re: xserver-xorg-input-wacom conflicts with xserver-xorg-core

2010-02-09 Thread michael.huettemann
Sorry for the stupid status changing. I did not know what I was doing.

Is version 1:0.10.3+20100109-1ubuntu1, published on 2010-01-22
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-wacom) the one that
fixes the problem? If so, the fix has no effect on a Motion Computing
LE1700. The stylus has no function at all. This is a tablet pc with an
internal wacom screen which worked well with karmic and is currently
still broken with lucid.

it's probably a serial device, and those are not handled properly at the
moment. Please file a bug about it against xf86-input-wacom.

2010-01-16 Thread Taylor Ripps L-Wren
The latest version of xserver-xorg-input-wacom from Debian Testing seems
to work. I recompiled it and installed it on Lucid and it seems to work.

that version does not, and wil not, support xserver 1.7. The new xf86
-input-wacom will, but it's not ready.

[Bug 501206] Re: xserver-xorg-input-wacom conflicts with xserver-xorg-core

2010-01-02 Thread Mikael Törnered
What a world?!? My Karmic was actually a Lucid. Must've left some door
open when installing mypaint from lucid repo. Or something. I should not
be allowed to use computers for the rest of 2010. I hereby crawl back
into my shell, and you are free to ignore, delete and wipe my posts.
