Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When running OpenOffice 3.1 Writer on both Ubuntu and on WIndows 7 I can not change the page orientation from portrait to landscape (both A4). The orientation does change in the File/Printer Settings/properties window. It just does not have any effect on the document layout. I've tried this on 2 different Ubuntu machines and one Windows 7 machine. Happy to email the document on request. If I open a brand new document I get the same problem. lsb_release -rd gives Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Jan 10 14:09:14 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: openoffice.org-core 1:3.1.1-5ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-17.54-generic SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic i686 XsessionErrors: (gnome-settings-daemon:1555): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (gnome-settings-daemon:1555): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_propagate_error: assertion `src != NULL' failed (nautilus:1636): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1655): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (nautilus:1717): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Not possible to set document to "landscape" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/505496 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
