Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dkms

This crash occurred during upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04. The error
message suggests that package dkms_2.0.21.1-0ubuntu3_all.deb should be
re-installed before continuing but any attempt to re-install or remove
the package results in this crash and the same error message. I've
Goog'd into oblivion with zero results.
