I have an HP laptop with ATI Radeon X4500 mobility and internal Intel GS45 but after installing FGLRX on Lucid it gave me a black screen after reboot. Tried again with Ubuntu (instead of Kubuntu this time) 10.4 Alpha 3 and Catalyst 10.1 drivers. Installation of the drivers went over fine. this problem exist with other driver too: i run Lucid (daily updated) with nvidia current and 195.36 driver installed, and kernel only activate nvidia-current ( system -- admin -- hardware drivers), can't activate 195.36.
