[Bug 527313] Re: after last update the network manager does not connect to wireless network
Same with me. eth0 and wifi works, broadband not (I use blueman-applet for this). I also realized that after diasabling the source mentioned above, I do nat have a source anymore for the following packages. Maybe this causes the broadband problem, but I do not really know... libnm-glib2 libnm-util1 modemmanager network-manager-pptp network-manager-vpnc -- after last update the network manager does not connect to wireless network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527313 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I was also hit by the network-manager trunk build bug yesterdat. It seems to only affect dhcp. As a work-around you can setup a static IP address still be able to use the trunk build of network-manager. Also you could try using the network-manager PPA as it is has updated versions of the packages you require but is not affected by the dhcp related issue. https://edge.launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive/ppa -- after last update the network manager does not connect to wireless network using trunk build. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527313 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to Change Non-Private data as it will be adding information to your bug report. Thanks in advance! When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's Help - Report a Problem menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. [Bug 527313] Re: after last update the network manager does not connect to wireless network
I also had this issue however do not anymore Try running your updates to see if you still have the issue. I also changed your affected package to network-manager from ubuntuone-client. As that sounds like the issue that you are having. Please verify that this was done correctly. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't start working on it yet, because your bug report didn't include enough information. Please include the information requested at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingNetworkManager. If you have trouble, please do not hesitate to ask for more assistance. Thanks in advance. ** Package changed: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) = network-manager (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- after last update the network manager does not connect to wireless network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/527313 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
