I haven't noticed the bug recently but my browsing habits have changed slightly in the past few months. I haven't done much exploring that requires bookmarks. The last few times I noticed the problem I found that the site had already been bookmarked in a different folder I had forgotten about. Perhaps what I thought was a bug was really a feature meant to deter bookmark duplication. If that feature doesn't exist there is a definite issue.
