I face the exact same problem. It seems to randomly happen. Attached is a screenshot of the panel icons in my current session. [Bug 541667] Re: Panel icons change position at log in
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't work it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read How to report bugs effectively http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Thanks! When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's Help - Report a Problem menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New = Incomplete -- Panel icons change position at log in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/541667 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 541667] Re: Panel icons change position at log in
1. There are no specific actions that I took to encounter the problem besides logging in to Ubuntu. 2. The behavior I expected was for the icons to NOT change positions from the last time I used my computer. 3. The behavior I actually encountered was that the icons appeared in a different position than the last time I logged in. But it doesn't happen all the time, only sometimes. Which is why I said, Sometimes when I turn my computer on and log into Ubuntu, my panel icons are in different positions. I mean that literally, and there is not much I can say about it. -- Panel icons change position at log in https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/541667 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
