Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Hello,
If I right click on the gnome panel and select "New Panel", the new panel will 
not appear until I log out and log back in. In previous versions of Ubuntu, the 
new panels appeared instantly when I clicked "New Panel". I found a crash log 
that might or might not be related, the timing seems about right though. See 
attached log. Ubuntu daily build 18-Mar-2010 (Lucid Beta 1) with all available 
updates applied.
