I also have experience this on an HP/Compaq nw8240 laptop. Although, I only see three lines: [] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge [...] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge ... [...] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge ... Also, you can try getting the DSDT file here: http://acpi.sourceforge.net/dsdt/view.php?id=567 Place it as /etc/mkinitramfs/DSDT.asl after unzipping it.
