Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gwibber
I just upgrade my Karmic installation to Lucid yesterday. The upgrade had a few issues, but otherwise went well. This morning I attempted to run gwibber with the following results: The gwibber ui came up and displays all the account information in tree form on the left of the ui. I'm using gwibber to post messages to identi.ca and twitter. Neither of these two services are displaying any content. Furthermore, It seems to allow me to post, but when I look at either of these two services I realize that nothing was posted. Please help! ~> lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 ~> ps -ef|grep gwibber sam 10671 1 5 13:07 ? 00:00:03 /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/gwibber sam 10708 1 2 13:07 ? 00:00:01 /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/gwibber-service ~> dpkg -s gwibber Package: gwibber Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: misc Installed-Size: 2640 Maintainer: Ubuntu Developers <ubuntu-devel-disc...@lists.ubuntu.com> Architecture: all Version: 2.30.0.1-0ubuntu1 Depends: python-dbus, python-gtk2, python-gconf, python-egenix-mxdatetime, python-simplejson, python-webkit, librsvg2-2, librsvg2-common, python-imaging, python-xdg, python-mako, python-gtkspell, python-wnck, python-desktopcouch-records, gwibber-service (= 2.30.0.1-0ubuntu1), python (>= 2.6), python-central (>= 0.6.11) Suggests: gwibber-themes Conffiles: /etc/xdg/autostart/gwibber.desktop feb8b94f5955d5a25bb5144ee8d17697 Description: Open source social networking client for GNOME Gwibber is a social networking client for GNOME.
