[Bug 572443] Re: Volume applet stopped working after upgrade
FYI, it's fixed now for me. I had some problems between mpd and pulse since the upgrade, maybe fixing that was what fixed it. I really don't know at what point it was fixed, sorry :S -- Volume applet stopped working after upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572443 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 572443] Re: Volume applet stopped working after upgrade
Hi, Same problem, the gnome-volume-control applet does not show any devices but sound is still produced through HDMI (Radeon HD4290) with applications like Totem and VLC I have tried the built in alsa modules (1.0.21) and my own complied 1.0.23 both show the same symptoms. uname -a Linux server1 2.6.32-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 28 13:28:05 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux cat /proc/asound/version Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.23.
