I've uploaded a package with that patch reverted to fix the breakage it
introduced:

 ubuntulooks (0.9.12-2) edgy; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patches/01_fix_tick_box_drawing.patch:
 - undo patch from bug #57749, it make tick box being not correctly centered
   (Ubuntu: #58610)

reopening that bug for now
