[Bug 57908] Re: Input system crazy after suspend

2010-01-04 Thread Brian Murray
Please open a new bug report using the command 'ubuntu-bug linux' after
having resumed from suspend instead of reopening an old and Invalid bug

2009-12-30 Thread kronos
Yesterday I tested the Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 and the same phenomena
happens there.

The thouchpad is otherwise fully operational. Also other OS:es, like
windows, does not have this problem.

[Bug 57908] Re: Input system crazy after suspend

2009-12-29 Thread kronos
Hi, I am also having this bug... Using 9.10 and an (old) Fujitsu Siemens
Lifebook S-series S6120.

The touchpad goes crazy when the laptop resumes after suspend. The
problem can be fixed by tapping firmly a couple of times on either
button while the pointer jumps around like crazy and
clicks/drags/deletes whatever stands in its way.

anyone else having this problem?

2007-03-01 Thread Brian Murray
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for
you? Thanks in advance.

I remember something similar happening when I chose the wrong protocol
for my mouse a long time ago. It was all XFree86 back then, but I guess
it is still the same issues for the mouse. Remember that the Synaptics
is usually a PS2 device, you may have to use /dev/psaux for
communicating properly with it.
