Could you try running "rhythmbox -d" and notice if it prints some error before hanging? Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have the same issue by running "gst-launch-0.10 -t filesrc location=/path/to/my/musicfile.ogg ! decodebin ! fakesink"?
