Public bug reported: Binary package hint: grub2
Upgraded packages today, hasn't been updated for about 2 weeks (been away). After upgrades, system wouldn't boot. I just get a black screen after the grub menu. Edited /etc/default/grub and added: GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=text update-grub reboot, and now everything works again.
