@Yuki Izumi (kivikakk) Actually GDB is not even comparable with the internal debugger. It's been 4 years since this bug was open and still the bochs package who comes with Ubuntu does not support internal debugging. I think it'd be fantastic if Ubuntu had an alternative package with support for the internal debugger, something like bochs_internal_debugging.bin. I'm going to go ahead and take away the opinion I had of this some three and a half years ago now - honestly, the GDB stub is in all likelihood much more useful than whatever Bochs come up with themselves. chilicuil; is there some overriding reason you can't use gdb to debug it instead?
