Bram Bonné, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. To see if this is already resolved in Ubuntu, could you please test http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ and advise to the results? ** Changed in: sane-backends (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: sane-backends (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632323 Title: Lamp warmup time on Epson Perfection 1250 should be > 0, instead of -1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/632323/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 632323] Re: Lamp warmup time on Epson Perfection 1250 should be 0, instead of -1
I can confirm this problem and fix. For a long time I've been locked into using xsane due to it been the only program I could find which would allow me to set the warmup time. Changing this config file allows me to use other scanner applications. ** Changed in: sane-backends (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- Lamp warmup time on Epson Perfection 1250 should be 0, instead of -1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 632323] Re: Lamp warmup time on Epson Perfection 1250 should be 0, instead of -1
Thanks for confirming this bug. Now it should be determined what is the best way to fix this. Perhaps it is possible to make this a scanner-specific setting instead of a driver-specific setting? We need someone who knows a little more about the inner workings to look at this. -- Lamp warmup time on Epson Perfection 1250 should be 0, instead of -1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/632323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
